Jean Gray
Set and Costume Designer

Jean is a British artist based in London. Prior to graduating in Interior Design she studied sculpture, exploring scale, space and light alongside the human form. She has since designed extensively for Independent theatre productions in London.

Design credits include: Falling Stars (Ginger Quiff Media); The Fix (Mountview Academy); Pacific Overtures (Union Theatre); Duncton Wood (Union Theatre); The Miller’s Wife (Arcola Theatre); The Glass Protegé (Park Theatre); Hello Norma Jean (Park Theatre); Shellshock (Waterloo East); San Domino (Courtyard Theatre).

Costume Design Credits include: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre, Leicester Square); Telescope (Battersea Testbed); The Drowsy Chaperone (The Gatehouse); Smokey Joe’s Café / Tomorrow Morning / Closer Than Everiscotivity (The Landor)

Jean has also worked on the UK national tour of The Hobbit, and internationally in China with Spirit Productions.
